JIM BAMBER

Formula One’s most famous and very popular cartoonist Jim Bamber has been associated with motorsport since time began. Everybody in the world motorsport industry sees his weekly cartoon in the magazine Autosport.

"In the early 70's I moved into publishing and became art editor of CAR magazine, the leading auto magazine of its day. Following that I was eight years as art editor of AUTOCOURSE the Grand Prix annual. During this period I began to focus more on my paintings and illustration work and since then have had commissions from almost every major car maker in the world and all the top motor-sport companies. Running in parallel to my art I have also become the worlds leading Formula One cartoonist appearing every week in the magazine AUTOSPORT. My future ambitions are to win the Miss World Contest and to live in Monterey. I am 60 and have a bus pass."
